Anand Bhagwat, Vice President Quality & Technology for Seneca Wire & Manufacturing Co., USA, has experience in wire manufacturing processes, product development and design, and product failure analysis. He most recently was principal metallurgist at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
Bhagwat has a BS degree in metallurgy from the College of Engineering, Pune, India, and an MS degree in materials science and an MBA degree from Case Western University.
A member of WAI since 1994, Bhagwat is the association's president for 2005. He was appointed to the Board of Directors and to the Executive Committee in January, 2000. He has served on various other association committees, including the Ferrous Management Committee and Technical Council. He has moderated numerous technical sessions and authored many technical papers that were published in Wire Journal International.
